St. Dominic's Academy
St. Dominic's Academy is an independent, traditional Catholic institution of
learning for children, covering grades K-12, and is staffed and administered by
the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Monroe, Connecticut.
Since 1982, the Academy has served as an alternate to those educational
institutions which focus purely on the technical and material, and rather
focuses first and foremost on spiritual and moral values, without which a sound
education is impossible.
Aside from the invaluable traditional Catholic education and personal attention
the Sisters provide to the students, the children in the school also have the
benefit of daily Mass and weekly confessions. Girl students also have the option
to join the Children of Mary Sodality, while boy students have the privilege of
assisting as an altar boy at a Traditional Catholic Latin Mass each week.
School tuition is extremely inexpensive for such invaluable Catholic education.
Cost is
$150 per
month per family (or $1500 for the year) plus a $150 registration fee to cover
books and other materials. For payment arrangements, please contact the
Principal of St. Dominic's Academy via email (below) or by phone.
See below for 2008-2009 St. Dominic's Academy class
