Mass Intentions

Mass Offering

The Mass Offering, or Stipend, must not be understood as a payment for the Mass.  It is a donation intended to support the material needs of the priest for one day.  This has been generally reckoned to be $20.00, although you are always permitted to give whatever amount you can afford.

Confirming we have received your Mass Intention...

We generally do not contact you to let you know when the Mass you requested will be offered.  However, you may easily check this for yourself by accessing our Mass Schedule or web www.rosarychapel.net and Bulletin.  This provides a list of all our Mass intentions for the current week, so if you don't see your Mass listed, try again next week.

The Priest

When you send your Mass intention to Our Lady of the  Rosary Chapel you may be assured that your Mass will be offered according to the ancient rites of the Church presribed by Pope St. Pius V and the Council of Trent.  If for any reason the clergy at Our Lady of the Rosary are unable to offer your Mass within a reasonable time, they may forward your intention and stipend to another priest of The Company of Jesus and Mary who is able to offer the Mass sooner.  Your Mass will of course still be offered according to the traditional Latin Rite.
